Dinosaur Feathers are trying to sound like the "theme music to an underwater adventure" and, at least on their tracks "Know Your Own Strength" and "Teenage Whore," with their muted drums, they succeed (though I don't think I would have come up with that explanation on my own). And on the song "History Lessons" the influence of the Beach Boys is loud and clear.
On June 17, Dinosaur Feathers will join pow wow! and Browns at LPR.
