On May 7th LPR will be hosting The Golden Palominos, who will be performing with their 1985-87 lineup featuring Syd Straw, for the first time in over 20 years. The Golden Palominos are centered around drummer/percussionist Anton Fier, who has also appeared on The Feelies' Crazy Rhythms and Pere Ubu's Song of the Bailing Man. The band has had many members throughout the years, with the above era's incarnation featuring guest spots by John Lydon, Michael Stipe, Jack Bruce and Richard Thompson.
