The JD Allen Trio are going to be celebrating the release of their newest album Victory! at LPR on May 18th. The trio, featuring band leader JD Allen on tenor sax, Gregg August on bass, and Rudy Royston on drums, are quickly becoming one of the scene's most notable ensembles, and we're thrilled to be hosting the release event for this album.

In celebration of this release LPR is doing a giveaway for a signed copy of Victory! and two tickets to the CD release concert at LPR. You can listen to a preview of the album on NPR's First Listen.
