The Wordless Music Series Releases Albums from LPR

The Wordless Music Series is making a foray into recordings on April 27 with the release of two albums recorded live at Wordless Music Series events.

Japanese noise rock band MONO performed at LPR and the Society for Ethical Culture last year with the Wordless Music Orchestra, doing songs from their Hymn to the Immortal Wind. These shows will be memorialized on a disc being called On Holy Ground: NYC Live with the Wordless Music Orchestra, which will be a CD/DVD combo released through Temporary Residence.

The second disc, on the same day, will be Grand Valley State University's performance of Terry Riley's In C. The performance is just over an hour long and features Dennis DeSantis on laptop. Ghostly International will release the disc digitally on April 27.

They are saving the fun on these shows, but don't miss the upcoming Wordless Music shows including Flying Lotus, Jóhann Jóhannsson, and Fuck Buttons.

I went looking for such type of songs. It's old but looks very interesting. The songs are symbolic of contemporary jazz, progressive jazz, and the alluring smooth jazz.
